There will be an exhibition at the NY Public Library for the Performing Arts featuring the photos of Martha Swope, who photographed the New York City Ballet and the Martha Graham companies. Attached is a link to a description of the exhibit. It will run from Sept 27, 2012 through Jan 26, 2013.

Swope was an amazing photographer. I had the pleasure of working with her a number of times as well as with members of her studio staff. Most memorably, one of her staff photgraphers shot my family (sisters, husbands, children) as a gift for my parent's anniversary. I still cherish those phots.
