That was a fascinating video! Thank you for sharing! There are so many factors that go into making these pointe shoes. To someone like me they don't look like shoes that require so much work, but I liked how the guy said it really influences what the dancers do. Great to think about an aspect simple audience members (like me) do not know about.....

A few years ago, NYCB posted a little video which includes a couple of minutes at the end at the Freed Factory in London. You might also find this interesting:

Thanks for that video also. It is interesting that they have to sew the shoes after getting them.
