SCTV: "The Flaming Turkey", (first telecast 2/24/79). A Russian "ballet", in the loosest sense of the term. John Candy is the host, Boris Bloshefnik. The Prince, (Eugene Levy), his "sidekick", (Joe Flaherty), meet a beautiful peasant girl in the woods, (Catherine O'Hara), with her beloved turkey, (Andrea Martin). Romance blossoms, but is interrupted by the entrance of Von Rathbone, (Dave Thomas), the evil capitalist landowner, who demands money from the peasant. A duel ensues, and mayhem and death result. Classical ballet meets The Three Stooges.
