Hermine Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 why are they calling onegin a company premiere? didnt they do it about 12 yrs ago? yes - only off by a year - this is what their site says: Onegin was given its Company Premiere by American Ballet Theatre on June 1, 2001, danced by Julie Kent (Tatiana), Robert Hill (Onegin), Vladimir Malakhov (Lensky), and Maria Riccetto (Olga). even further - okay, i see it's got new designs, so it's a new production, but not a company premiere?
