Allow us to boast for a moment: We've been beyond fortunate and met some of S.F.'s brightest style stars. And, there's no shortage in sight, as the eye candy just keeps rolling in. Case in point: S.F. Ballet's principal dancer, Maria Kochetkova, who recently showed us around the city's famed opera house — and her whimsical wardrobe.

In the Ballet Videos forum, there are videos of Ms. Kochetkova in her Mariinsky performances of

Giselle

Nutcracker

There's also a lovely photo of her backstage post-Nutcracker with her partner, her partner's teacher, Yuri Fateev, and her teacher at the Mariinsky:

Masha wishes Sylvie Guillem a happy birthday, and mentions that Guillem was "One of the main inspirations and reasons I left Russia."

Well, she's also scheduled to dance here in San Francisco tonight, the first piece, so maybe she's red-eyeing it to NY. MacGregor tomorrow and no jet lag?
