Allow us to boast for a moment: We've been beyond fortunate and met some of S.F.'s brightest style stars. And, there's no shortage in sight, as the eye candy just keeps rolling in. Case in point: S.F. Ballet's principal dancer, Maria Kochetkova, who recently showed us around the city's famed opera house — and her whimsical wardrobe.

Youth America Grand Prix’s 2013 “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater.

Annually sold-out and highly acclaimed by critics worldwide, YAGP Galas featuring the world’s most promising young dance students and the stars of today’s leading international dance companies have been thrilling New York City audiences since the inception of YAGP in 1999. The unique format of the Gala, featuring the performances of international ballet stars and introducing the world’s brightest young dance talent quickly became an audience favorite and, according to the late Clive Barnes of The New York Post, “the highlight of the New York ballet season.”

Featuring:

Nina Ananiashvili (Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Opera and Ballet State Theatre)

Tyler Angle (New York City Ballet)

Clifton Brown

Herman Cornejo (American Ballet Theatre)

Chase Finlay (New York City Ballet)

Dorothée Gilbert (Paris Opera Ballet)

Marcelo Gomes (American Ballet Theatre)

Osiel Gouneo (National Ballet of Cuba)

I don't believe this interview with Masha has been linked to before:

Maria Kochetkova - Magic Doesn't Just Happen (she talks about her career and training over the years)

It's not often that we get to hear a dancer or choreographer talk for almost 15 minutes straight, so it's a really interesting interview.
