This appears to be the week of Great Moves...and it's only Wednesday!

Although rumored for a while, we now have an in-print Ukrainian news report on the latest plans of Denis and Anastasia Matvienko to return to their 'original home theater' in Kyiv, Ukraine, where Denis has been tapped by the Ministry of Culture to lead the national ballet company. As per the last sentence of the article, his wife Anastasia plans to move to Kyiv too.

It will be official once the Deputy Minister signs the order.

No word on whether the couple will remain on the Mariinsky roster, as Igor Zelensky seems to have done for years, while also heading the Novosibirsk Ballet and, presently, the Stanislavsky in Moscow.
