The New York Times is reporting the donation by Mikhail Baryshnikov of his personal archives to the Dance Collection at the New York Public Library:

The library staff expects that it will take three years to transfer the 650 tapes to digital so they can be reviewed by researchers.
Such a gold mine! I know what I'll be doing on future trips to New York!
