Yay! Elliott Carter! He'll be just a couple of months shy of 103 in October, so I suppose the great man himself won't show up, but it would be wonderful if he did ... he was still composing stuff as recently as 2010.

Leigh -- do you know which pieces LeCrone and Sher are setting their dances to?

I don't know what they've announced already, so I don't want to scoop Works and Process, but I do think they are hoping he might attend, but not counting on it.

As is usual with this specific program, Avi and Emery are using the same music; five short (unrelated) chamber pieces.

The brochure on the Guggenheim site lists the music that will be performed on p. 3:
