That's great news for the company. Interesting that they are not bringing any of Martins' ballets.

That is my first impresssion too. No Martins ballet.
I wish NYCB could make stops at Beijing or Shanghai. But maybe too expensive for Chinese mainland theaters

Kathy Brown told me at the NYCI Tenth Anniversary brunch on Saturday that the China tour in March 2011 will include Shanghai and Beijing.

I just looked at my notice for the China tour and it looks like NYCB will only perform in Hong Kong. But the patron donors, of which I am one, are being offered the opportunity to extend our tour trip with the Company to visit Shanghai and Beijing. There apparently are no mentions of NYCB performances on mainland China.
Sorry for the confusion.
