A friend who knows Michael Fisher, with whom I was only casually acquainted, has written to say he died suddenly yesterday and his brother and friends are having trouble accessing his apartment in order to get to his address book, etc. and so I've been asked to post something in case anyone in this circle knew Michael and would like to know this sad news. I have no further information.
