PNB is performing a mixed bill next Wednesday and Thursday nights, 15-16 September 15-16 October at the Royal Theatre in Victoria, BC:

The first and last pieces are in the opening "Director's Choice" program, and the company did the Dove at the end of last season.  The surprise is "Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux", which is listed on the PNB Repertory List with a debut date of August 13, 1985.  I may have missed a rep program in which they performed this from the 1994-5 season until now, but I don't remember it having been programmed since I've been a subscriber.

Well, this explains something -- I heard over the summer that people were learning T pas de deux, but I didn't know where they'd be performing it.

It is a very handy piece for guesting and one-off touring, so I can absolutely understand why they'd be adding it to the rep right now.  Any ideas when/if the presenter will be announcing casting?
