You do realize he is now dancing two hours north of you and that you can go see him dance at Ballet BC this season. Just sayin'.

I love his stuff. I'm glad I hoarded his candles, now that he's focused on skin care
It's got to be a lot easier to sell from a store rather than having to ship everything individually, plus there's the walk-in business.

I am listening to the Balancing Pointe podcast with Ellen Bar, Part 1, and at about the 18-minute mark on the iTunes download, Bar talks about knowing Jordan Pacitti from the SAB dorms and about his interest in fragrance back then:

Congratulations, Barry, and welcome back to this side of the Rockies!

Excellent news for him -- I hope it's a great fit for all concerned.

I hate to throw cold water, and I admit I don't know how old Barry is, but I assume that being a director means that Barry won't be dancing a lot. Surely this is a good move for him personally or he wouldn't have done it, but I always loved the way Barry danced at PNB. He seems young enough to have a whole lot of dance still in him. He always stood out among the men to my eyes. I was very sad when he left PNB.

Heads-up -- PNB alum Jennifer Porter is making a new version of Firebird (contemporary setting, no Slavic references) for Ballet Bellevue (Meydenbauer Center, October 10-12), featuring live music. And Olivier Wevers' Whim W'him company will be guesting on the program, with his version of Les Sylphides, so it's kind of a Ballet Russe revision.
