Hello, all!

My name is Richard Jones. As a boy I did ballet, tap and modern and loved every second. Sadly I had to give up but dance still has a huge influence on my current work as a theatre director. My particular interest is in opera and I'm currently writing the libretti for some new works. One of these is set to explore interaction between different artforms and will feature a signer interacting with his younger self portrayed by a dancer. It takes Britten's Death in Venice a step further.

Anyway, I go to a lot of dance in London and look forward to spending some time on the Ballet Talk forums.

Richard
