Though this may have already been posted in links, I thought Heather Thackeray deserved a thread of her own.

Thanks, glebb, and best wishes to Heather as her career takes a new turn. Nice tribute, that story.

"I feel linked to this company," she said. "I know where Ballet West has been. I'm part of that, and I'm glad I also get to be part of the future."

That's a rare sentiment, nowadays, and a tribute both to Ms. Thackeray and to Ballet West.

That's a rare sentiment, nowadays, and one respect very much. It's also a tribute both to Ms. Thackeray and to Ballet West.
