The rest of the repertoire currently planned for the tour is:

Etudes (Lander)
Conservatoire (Bournonville) - just the dancing school scene, I assume
Bournonville Variations
The Lesson (Flindt)
Jord (Jorma Uotinen)

and new pieces by Johan Kobborg, Pontus Lidberg and Kim Brandstrup (the 2 pieces KB is making for the end of this season, I think))

That's a lot of ballets! I hope DC gets more than a whole week of "Sleeping Beauty." :)

I wonder where they will perform in NYC. As I recall mid-June has NYCB at the Koch and ABT at the Met.

:) I am soooo excited! Looking forward to details.

NYCB initiates its new, three-season year in 2010-2011, so they may be out of the Koch by mid-June.

I realize I'm going OT with this, but what are the details of the NYCB three season thing. HAve they announced what time blocks will be involved?

I hope that between Washington and New York, they bring a wide sampling of programs, heavy on the Bournonville.

Oh, I so hope so, because the only alternative is City Center...

Well I'm thrilled for Orange County! This will certainly break up our two year dirge of DQ's and Giselles. I hope we get to see a few items and not just Sleeping Beauty's for a whole week!
