rg Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 the scanned photo posted here is rather tiny - about the size of a trading card - and is signed with writing hard to decipher. it's presumably Semyonova's signature - who's shown in the undated photo as Odile - other than that i have no information about the picture, including the identity of male dancer. might it be Vladimir Alekseevich Preobrajensky? rg Posted November 13, 2009 Author Share Posted November 13, 2009 a Mukovite colleague has told me the Siegfried in this photo is Yuri Kondtratiev. also, holding the signatures against some strong light to note the writing more as embossed into the photo than 'inked' on it, it seems clear that the middle line of writing says: Y. Kondratiev (in cyrillic, o'course.) Link to comment
