Regina Beck-Friis. 1940 - 2009, has passed away.
She was a Swedish dance historian who researched old dancing styles and mounted ballets for the ancient court theater at Drottningholm Castle. Together with her friend, the late Mary Skeaping, they reconstructed ballets by such ballet masters as Didelots and Gallodier. She was also a dance writer and published books on old dancing techniques.
