While there are some nice parts to ENB's production, I hope this is a good deal better than that.

Duck Moat
Up-to-date Swan Lake with aristocratic MP lured to build follies by mysterious Speaker in black. Villain: the Speaker. Music: Sir Peter Maxwell-Davies, Master of the Queen's Musik, who has announced that he is writing a comic opera about the MPs' expenses scandal but who might be asked to change to a ballet score instead.

About time some topicality appeared at the ballet.

I guess I must be one of the few who couldn't stand Alice. Not just the music. Alice doesn't look at all like alice. and as she might ask , what's the use of an Alice without Alice? At first I couldn't even decide who was Alice. I could get only half way through when i turned it off. And I love the story of Alice in Wonderland.
