Pacific Northwest Ballet and Rasta Thomas' Rock the Ballet are part of the Joyce Theater's 2009 Fall season:

Lucinda Childs, too--though the proscenium opening size of the Joyce may diminish the experience (I saw it at Bard--amazing).

New York audiences will get to see PNB in Millepied's 3 Movements.  (DC audiences and visitors will get to see it as well next June in "Ballet Across America.")

I'd be interested in hearing what East Coast BTers have to say about the work.  At the Kennedy Center, it will be a stand-alone for PNB, but at the Joyce, it will be performed with Twyla Tharp's "Opus 111" (to Brahms), which she choreographed for PNB at the beginning of last season, Marco Goecke's "Mopey", and Edwaard Liang's "Fur Alina".
