this scanned photo, stamped as having been published in London on 17 Sep 66, comes from a newspaper announcement of a performance of GISELLE (perhaps on 16 Sep 66) with Makarova and Soloviev in the leads.

UK BT members will likely recall the facts behind this casting - if mem. serves it was an 'appeal' from British balletomanes that convinced management to cast Makarova as Giselle for this English season.

evidently this was a rehearsal held (and photographed) in London.
