Fascinating to see him as a student.

For those who may not have seen the "Graduation Ball" thread, here's a direct link that Cristian posted to his more recent performance as the Drummer Boy.

It's interesting to compare this with, for example, the Flower Festival clip above.

Thanks for linking the two threads, bart.. . I was actually looking to post some footage of Virelles dancing in Scotch Symphony, Ballo de la Regina and Apollo, but then I thought that it would not be a good idea, because of the Powers That Be...
Meanwhile, here's an article in which Virelles talks about his experience dancing those ballets. (Attention to note: I'm posting the Google translation version of it, and, as usual, it's a little grammatically "challenged" :clapping: )
Enjoy!

Also, here's a set of picst taken during the performance of William Dollar's "Le Combat". Virelles danced it with Veronica Corveas.

Mr. Virelles has just been promoted to Primer Bailarin-(Principal Dancer)-!!! :clapping:

So there...just as a direct response to the most recent defections, NYorkers will be seeing him when at BAM...
