agnes
This was one of the articles from Monday, January 12. Does anyone know if this will be shown in the U.S.? I live in California and would very much like to see this film. Anyway, let me know too if it is already on DVD. Link to comment

carbro
On behalf of New Yorkers who missed the screening at the Film Society's Dance on Film Festival, thanks for the link, agnes. It's good to know that we have another chance to see it during a run at the Quad. Opening there on Friday, it is now listed under "Coming Soon" on the Quad's website. http://www.quadcinema.com/static/quadcinema/coming.php Link to comment
canbelto
What struck me about this film was how the two ballerinas with the "showiest" personalities onstage (Zakharova and Somova) offstage, without their makeup, seem extremely reserved and shy, almost to the point where they can't seem to look straight into the camera. Amy Reusch
I'm not sure why, but there seem to be two threads on this... So I'm putting a link here (even though the other thread is not so very long) http://ballettalk.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=21135 Link to comment
