I've been a ballet fan for a long time - more than 25 years. Naturally (I'm from Seattle) most of what I've seen has been PNB.

Five years ago (at the age of 56, and shortly after retirement) I started taking classes as well, and I've been active on the Ballet Talk for Dancers forums for a few years now under the same moniker. Taking classes has enhanced my appreciation a lot!

Anyhow, I am finding I want to learn more about the dances so I have joined this forum as well. There are relatively few people I know who are interested in talking about dance - even my fellow students are more interested in doing it than talking about it!  :shake:  I'm looking forward to many new ideas and perspectives here!
