most of the films listed in the NYPL dance coll. are either 'closed' or 'permission required' - you might inquire as to the procedure for acquiring permission. the following 3 seem 'open' - i know only the Studio 8-H taping and it's less than straight forward in its filming, which robbins himself supervised - it's shot at a somewhat odd angle and looks as if it were filmed through a veil of gauze. (the leclercq & d'amboise film in the library is still 'permission required' i think, but one can see it now on the VAI dvd of jacques d'amboise films.)

maybe others have seen the other two items on this list; the spoleto one would likely be hard to 'follow' given the lack of sound as described in the cat. entry.
