Hey Everyone!
I'm so excited to find this forum. I'm not new to ballet, but am new to the teaching side of it! I am presently going through the Cecchetti Council of America's Teacher Training program and am loving every minute of it. I run a minutely small studio via my converted garage and will be going back to school this fall to complete my college degree in dance - the college I'm studying at focuses on modern dance and I'm so excited to finally get to learn a different style of dance! I've always only ever studied classical ballet. I love it - but am looking forward to exploring other mediums of movement. (I actually am dying to take a hip hop class!!)
Thanks for having this awesome forum. I think it will be a great resource for me in the next couple of years. I have a lot to learn in regards to teaching ballet. It's a WHOLE different ball game than being the student!!!
Cheers!
