Houston Ballet recently announced its 2008-2009 season in the Houston Chronicle. Stanton Welch will choreograph a new full-length story ballet, Marie, based on the riveting life of Marie Antoinette in February 2009. Houston Ballet will also introduce eight new works into its repertoire by such renowned choreographers as Jerome Robbins, Jirí Kylián, William Forsythe, and Nacho Duato. The season will include revivals of Stanton Welch's blockbuster production of Swan Lake and John Cranko's Onegin.
