Your Los Angeles Ballet...

Dear Friends,

The holiday season is here again and so is the Second Season of your Los Angeles Ballet! We opened November 29th and 30th at Alex Theatre, Glendale with our original and magical production of The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker will be presented again at Royce Hall, UCLA on December 22nd at 2:00pm and 7:30pm, and December 23 at 2:00pm and 6:30pm. Your last chance to see this beautiful production will be at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, December 29th at 2:00pm and 7:30pm, and December 30th at 2:00pm.

Los Angeles Ballet is pleased to bring you two more exciting programs in 2008. For our Spring production we're presenting three Balanchine masterworks: his monumental The Four Temperaments; the flamboyant Tarantella; and the sassy Who Cares?. We are also proud to bring you a World Premiere by Los Angeles Ballet dancer, Melissa Barak.

The Summer production offers George Balanchine's classically elegant Allegro Brilliante, Lar Lubovitch's powerful The Evangelist, and back by popular demand is August Bournonville's joyous Napoli Pas de Six and Tarantella. Also on this program will be a second World Premiere by Orange County native Jennifer Backhaus of Backhaus Dance. We have a truly exciting and dynamic season ahead of us!

The reality of a second season and the ongoing success of Los Angeles Ballet have been made possible as a result of generous donations from patrons like you. To ensure the same level of excellence, we ask that you kindly remember Los Angeles Ballet in your holiday giving. Revenue from ticket sales alone is not sufficient to fulfill our mission and bring you the kind of world-class productions that you now have come to expect from us. We rely on support from individuals like you for the continued growth and success of Los Angeles Ballet.

Please visit www.losangelesballet.org and look at the Support section of our website for more information regarding the benefits you will receive when you choose to include Los Angeles Ballet in your holiday giving.

With sincere thanks,
