Margaret Craske, Vera Volkova, Stanley Williams and from earlier times Enrico Ceccheti.  They weren't choreographers, but they shaped dancers and choreography.

Did anyone here talk class with any of those teachers (Craske gave class until quite late in life) - What were their classes like, and how did it influence what happened on stage?

If I haven't mentioned a teacher who's germane to the topic, talk about them by all means.
