Acknowledged for his innate taste, classicism and characterizations, the discussion will focus on Mr. Hübbe's years with New York City Ballet, teaching at the School of American Ballet, and his plans for the future as the new Artistic Director of the Royal Danish Ballet beginning in 2008.

May 5, 2008: JEROME ROBBINS: SOMEWHERE

This seminar will be a conversation with Amanda Vaill, the biographer of the acclaimed 2006 biography of one of the 20th century's great choreographers. She will reflect on Robbins' career and inspirations. The audience will have a chance to hear from the choreographer himself as selected film clips will be shown.
