From the press release:

PACIFIC NORTHWEST BALLET TO PERFORM AT BUMBERSHOOT:
SEATTLE’S MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
Monday, September 3, 6:45pm
Bagley Wright Theatre

PNB’s summer performances at Vail International Dance Festival a critical success!

SEATTLE, WA — Pacific Northwest Ballet dancers are back in the studios after a critically acclaimed tour to the 2007 Vail International Dance Festival in late July and early August – just in time for performances at Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival, Monday, September 3, 6:45 p.m. in the Bagley Wright Theatre at Seattle Center.

Artistic Director Peter Boal announced recently the casting for the Bumbershoot performance: Nacho Duato’s Jardi Tancat will be performed by principal dancers Carrie Imler, Ariana Lallone, Batkhurel Bold, Jeffrey Stanton, Olivier Wevers, and soloist Mara Vinson. Marco Goecke’s Mopey will be performed by corps de ballet dancer James Moore. Two works which received their premieres at PNB’s Choreographers’ Showcase in June are also on the program: Olivier Wevers’s Kaori and Lucien will be performed by principal dancer Kaori Nakamura and corps de ballet dancer Lucien Postlewaite, and Stacy Lowenberg’s Rushed Goodbye will be performed by soloists Lesley Rausch and Karel Cruz. Of last year's popular PNB Bumbershoot performances, Seattle Times reviewer Patrick MacDonald noted, “The wait to get into Pacific Northwest Ballet’s performance at Bagley Wright was reminiscent of those never-ending E-ticket lines at Disneyland. Almost 900 people made it inside, but nearly 300 more were turned away.”
