I just got wind of a new ballet company replacing Ballet Pacifica in Orange County. I believe they will also occupy the same building in Irvine as their predecessor.

I worked with Charles Maple in '01 at CPYB's Choreoplan. He's an excellent teacher and a great guy. Plenty of nice folks on that faculty (Stephen Hyde, Lorin Johnson). Good luck to them!

The Maple Conservatory of Dance *will* be occupying the same dance facility as the former Ballet Pacifica. I've heard they are vey close to opening this month.

Sign up for their email list on their website at http://mapleconservatory.com if you want to be notified by them on their opening date, new class schedules, faculty additions, master classes, etc.
