this 1932 postcard, stamped, postmarked and sent from latvia shows a 'fight' scene from some opera productin of ROMEO AND JULIET.
but if the date hadn't been noted on the back and if was no caption noting "op." i'd have assumed the photo depicted a some staging of prokofiev's ballet behind the iron curtain.
needless to remark i don't speak latvian, so the wrting on the card is lost on me.
