Patricia Posted June 21, 2001 Share Posted June 21, 2001 The current (June 21-28) TIME OUT NEW YORK features an interview with Amanda McKerrow, who mentions that she and her husband John Gardner are leaving ABT. She is NOT retiring but does not mention definite future plans either. Maybe ABT doesn't think this is a terrible loss - not with their other married couple on the roster - but I do. Link to comment

She moved me most deeply as Odette in a performance with Belotserkovsky last year and I remember a particularly wonderful Swanilda she danced here also a few years ago. The good news is that she and John Gardner have made some guest appearances with the Washington Ballet so perhaps we'll get to see them 'post ABT'. Link to comment
