Ceeszi, One big board with a lot of members is the Cuny List-Serve(this is off the City University of New York) This will get you to the archives where you can read posts and join if you wish so that you can post yourself http://listserv.cuny.edu/archives/opera-l.html It's a bit of a mixed bag in that sometimes things get rowdy, but there is intelligent discussion (sometimes) Another one I would NOT recommend is r.m.o. I lost my bookmark but it's a very nasty place. The opera discussion is just a plank for personal attacks and very foul language ( Another tack to to go to yahoo.com , looks for "group" on the home page and then search for opera . I don't participate on most of them but I'm on about 20 yahoo opera groups. A very large group is "parlourofoperalovers" with about 1100 members. It is very active with many Europeans so you hear about more about the European opera scene.
