ballet1612
I just received my copy of Sylvie Guillem's new book and all I can say is that it is huge! I mean it is very large in size and quite thick. The book has a brief written introduction on her life, available in several languages, but most of it consists of photographs of Sylvie. It includes photos of when she was young as well as pictures of her parents and grandmother. There are also pictures of flowers and other objects that are important to her. A lot of the pictures are not performance shots, but there are some. Gilles Tapie, the photographer who has been with Sylvie for a long time, does a great job showing Sylvie in many different forms. The book cost quite a bit to ship to the US, but if you enjoy photography and Sylvie, I think it is well worth it. Link to comment
Joseph
Sounds really nice; is there somewhere we can find it online? Link to comment
ballet1612
I ordered it through the Amazon UK website, the postage was a lost less than ordering it from the Royal Opera House or Dance Books. Link to comment

Still, yeah, I think I'll go ahead and order it! -goro- Link to comment
