The Ballet is making it official today: Martin West is its new music director and principal conductor, effective Sept. 15. West has often served as a guest conductor for the orchestra, making his debut with the ensemble in 2003. He is the former principal conductor of the English National Ballet and has served as music director of the Cambridge Philharmonic Society. Link to comment
