I was wondering if anyone knew of a CD that contained the music for Balachine's Tchaikovsky pdd. Thank you!!

Yes, it is in a 2-CD set of complete "Swan Lake" by the Philadelphia Orchestra with conductor Wolfgang Swallisch. It has the original pre-Drego arrangement with the Black Swan grand ppd in Act II and the Tchaikovsky ppd music in Act III. I don't know if this is the catalogue #, it's in the spine of the jewel case: "CDQB 5 55041 2 8"

A wonderful performance of the music for Balanchine's 'Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux' is on a complete recording of 'Swan Lake' performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by John Lanchberry. Here is a URL for the Tower Records website where you can purchase it:

The whole recording is great, by the way. Lanchberry is a superb ballet conductor and he conducts the music at a dancer's tempo and doesn't speed things up like so many of his colleagues do.
