Who, in your opinion, is or was the most handsome male dancer? This is a
no-brainer for me: the drop-dead gorgeous Vladimir Vasiliev. :) Visit the website below and you'll see what I mean.

Maris Liepa was also very handsome.

Probably not handsome in the classic sense, but absolutely RIVETING in appearance, Rudolf Nureyev leapt instantly to mind.

Classically handsome: Bruhn.

Oh, come, I can't let this one go. He was known on the New York standing room line as "the most gorgeous man ever to grace the ballet stage."

Okay, three-way tie: Kronstam, Vasiliev, and Martins.

I think the Italian dance star Roberto Bolle is a very handsome male dancer.

Have a look at his webside: http://www.robertobolle.com/

I'd like to echo FarrellFan's comment on Peter Martins. Also: Ethan Stiefel (very "boyish" good looks) and Adam Cooper. I find Stephen Hanna, recently promoted to soloist at NYCB, uniquely appealing.

From the past: Michael Mordkin, Michael Somes, Nicholas Magallanes. The latter is featured with Marie-Jeanne in a serious of photos by George Platt Lynes. They are nude and posed by Balanchine. Both are beautiful but Magallanes is a lovely speciman of Manhood, uh......so to speak.

From the present: Nikolaj Hubbe, Albert Evans, and although he isn't dancing anymore I've always thought Patrick Dupond was good looking. Maybe not in the classical sense, but he always did IT for me. :)

Rex Harrington, who just retired from the National Ballet of Canada, is generally regarded as a hunk!

For me, the young Jacques D'Amboise was gorgeous. He still is!
