Met site does not list Marguerite and Armand.

They do list all other casting more or less as above.

Does anybody have any information?

I'll check again with Lincoln Center on Monday.  I've gotten several updates, but they've been unofficial.  There may be an injury that's caused "Marguerite and Armand" to be cancelled.

"Marguerite and Armand" IS being performed.  If you check the link that klingsor posted above, you'll now see that ballet listed.  We just happened to catch the Lincoln Center web site between updates.

There are cast changes, though, as follows:

Please note these changes to casting for Week II of the Ashton Celebration at Lincoln Center Festival for THE ROYAL BALLET.

July 14:
Birthday Offering: Darcy Bussell, Thiago Soares
Marguerite & Armand: Sylvie Guillem, Massimo Murru

July 15:
Marguerite & Armand: Sylvie Guillem, Massimo Murru (Murru will dance all three M&A's with Sylvie Guillem)

July 17:
Cinderella, eve. 8 p.m.:
Tamara Rojo, Inaki Urlezaga

I don't know if it's already been mentioned here, but a sharp-eyed ballet.co poster has pointed out an addition to the RB's programme on July 13th:

TBA - Sibley, Dowell

A nice treat for some lucky people!

Sibley and Dowell are supposed to be there on the 15th, too...I hope so, because I'll be there.    There are two dancers I am not familiar with:  Mara Galeazzi and Marianela Nunez---some background, please.

Because of the time difference, Jane (or others who watch the Royal regularly) might not see this for awhile.  I remember Galeazzi as a very funny, scrappy Lise in "La Fille Mal Gardee" when the company was here a few years ago. Not an "ideal" Lise, but genuinely funny, and I believe she's noted as a dramatic ballerina.  I haven't Nunez in a major role so I can't help there.

Here's a link to the Royal Ballet's page of principal dancers.  There's a full list of roles and photos for each:

Galeazzi has been in the company since 1992 and has been a principal for a couple of years. As Alexandra says, she's a strong dramatic dancer - Tatiana in Onegin suits her very well and she's also got very good reports for two different roles in Mayerling. I didn't see her Lise but heard enthusiastic descriptions from friends, but she's not cast for it this time round.

Nunez is much younger - in fact she's younger than Cojocaru, though I doubt you'd guess that. She danced in Buenos Aires before coming to the Royal Ballet School for a year; she'd been in the corps de ballet for a season or so when Anthony Dowell suddenly promoted her by 3 levels. As an Ashton dancer she's almost an unknown quantity - but she gets Sylvia next season and also the first night of Fille (with Acosta) . She's technically strong and does things on a big scale - she made a lovely debut as Nikiya last season, confounding those who thought she ought to stick to Gamzatti. In the right role she's gorgeous.

Anthony Dowell was cast as Armand's father last night, and received a huge ovation upon setting foot on stage. Alas, there was no Sibley sighting.
