Guest dani
Just an update on the busy Mr. Bourne. If you live in the UK, this is your very last chance to see the remarkable 'Play Without Words'. Currently in Birmingham until 01May, then Woking (04May-08May), Bromley (11May-15May), and Plymouth (18May-22May). 'Play Without Words' will then travel to Japan to for performances 25June to 25July. It is in talks for Korea this fall and at long last will come to the United States in spring of 2005: New York: March 14, 2005 - April 02, 2005 Los Angeles: April 04, 2005 - May 28, 2005 Berkeley: May 30, 2005 - June 04, 2005. Bourne's Nutcracker! is also headed to the United States end of this year: Berkeley: November 27, 2004 - December 04, 2004 Orange County: December 06, 2004 - December 11, 2004 Los Angeles: December 13, 2004 - December 31, 2004 Swan Lake will make a triumphant return this winter starting with a UK tour and then heading to Japan, Korea and in the works, the United States. The only dates I can confirm at the moment are those for the UK: Oxford: November 19-20, 2004 Birmingham: November 22-27, 2004 Sadler's Wells: November 29, 2004 - January 16, 2005 Also for 2005, Matthew is bringing back 'Highland Fling' which will have a tour schedule similar to what 'Play Without Words' has now i.e. UK, Japan, Korea. Workshops are to be scheduled for 'Edward Scissorhands' and current prediction for this spectacular production is end of 2005 into 2006. Matthew is also choreographing and co-directing the Cameron Mackintosh/Disney Theatrical Productions blockbuster 'Mary Poppins' for the West End to open December 15th at the Prince Edward Theatre. Tickets for this production are literally flying out the window and very few remain for performances until after March 2005. The Richard Carsen directed, Matthew Bourne choreographed production of 'Midsummer Night's Dream' will be at the Coliseum in London late June into early July. And in his spare time.....well I'm not sure he has any. But 2004-2005 promises to be the best ever and certainly most exciting for Bourne die-hards as well as those who check out his tremendous productions for the very first time. Go, enjoy and find out for yourself what all the hullabaloo is about! Dani matthewbourne.org Link to comment
