I saw this documentary where they showed a clip of Rudolph Nureyev dancing on some scaffolding (where he was dressed like a clown) and it had something to with the Moon? I think it was an opera ballet? Any clues as to what performance I may be referring to?

Hi, kdb, and welcome to Ballet Talk at Ballet Alert! Online! :(

The ballet you're referencing is Glen Tetley's "Pierrot Lunaire" with music by Arnold Schönberg of the same title.  It used to be a staple with the old Western Theatre Ballet.
