I also enjoy Brandt's Instagram posts. I especially love watching the coaching sessions she has with Dvorovenko, and hearing Dvorovenko's corrections. What I really cannot stand are the posts (done by other dancers, NOT Brandt) featuring half-naked photography by this guy "Nisian". Maybe I'm being prudish, but I find them very distasteful.

Thanks @bellawoodI watched it 3 times. Lovette's tight chainés are so beautiful.

Thanks ABT Fan & fondoffuettes Sounds like waiting it out a few more months is a good idea.

Tickets are on sale! Wish I could look into a crystal ball and see which performances are most likely to feature Teuscher or Schevchenko. I'm leaning towards opening night. This will be my 1st trip to the Michigan Opera Theatre - anyone know how liberal of an exchange policy they have?

THANK YOU FauxPas, for staying up late to give us your full review! It was a delight to read, and I'm so happy for Sarah. She posted a clip of herself doing fouettes several months back, and I kept my fingers crossed, hoping that the opportunity would come. https://www.instagram.com/p/BtEKX1lnLSI/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Bless you, FauxPas for these updates! I am 3k miles away in San Jose, CA, and would give anything to see Lane perform SL.

As food for thought....how about Sarah Jessica Parker? -
I came across this charming love story involving former NYCB corps member, Alina Dronova: http://www.northjersey.com/story/news/2017/06/07/garden-state-mind-going-distance-love/313025001/

Howard Oakley has an intriguing 2-part series on Degas and his contemporaries: https://eclecticlight.co/2017/08/12/danseuses-1-largely-innocent/ https://eclecticlight.co/2017/08/13/danseuses-2-the-social-message/

Kent Becker has posted some really great, high-quality photos. http://www.notmydayjobphotography.com/AmericanBalletTheatreCurtainCa/2017-Met-Season/i-JV32B8f

Given the resurgence of Russia in popular culture, maybe she could go the same route as Irina Dvorovenko and venture into acting? I think she has a lot of potential for film and TV.

Here's Devon Teuscher & Alex Hammoudi (I love this clip of her doing fouettes, posted only 2 weeks ago. Really hope to see more of her next time ABT returns to DC).

If anyone has a Roku streaming device, it's available for unlimited viewing on the PBS Roku channel. Just do a search for "lincoln" on the channel's main screen, and it should come up. http://www.pbs.org/roku/home/
