In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Vail International Dance Festival opens with a mixed bill of repertory highlights and a stellar cast of Festival Artists in their first appearance of the season. In the second act, Pacific Northwest Ballet returns to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater stage to perform George Balanchine's iconic ballet Serenade,* bathed in natural moonlight and accompanied by full orchestra.
